Situated in the old town of San Pedro, Alfredos is a long standing restaurant that serves typically Spanish cuisine specialising in meat and fish, including authentic dishes from Andalucía.
Known for their half kilo of lamb chops, Chuletas Corderos, they have an extensive menu and there are always ‘specials of the day’ on offer. Every table is given a complementary ‘amuse bouche’ of meatballs, albondigas, and there is quite often a ‘drink on the house’ at the end of the meal.
Extremely popular during July and August, it is better to reserve if you don’t want to wait – especially if you want a table outside. Patience is needed at this time of year as it is often difficult to get the attention of a waiter when they are rushing around.
A great restaurant with a warm atmosphere, it is also a good place to come to out of season on those cooler evenings when you want to sit inside the large interior.
