Castillo de la Duquesa, Manilva
+34 952 113305
Situated on the beach at Castillo de la Duquesa, behind and to the left of the Castle, this chiringuito serves typical Spanish food offering a range of tapas, fresh fish and meat. Always busy at holiday times, frequented by locals and Spanish on holiday, it offers good value for money in an informal setting.
The paella might be a 40 minute wait, but for a well-cooked fresh dish this is normal, and it is well worth it! We ordered our paella for 3 people, and it was more than enough to feed 4. Start off with some boquerones fritos (deep fried anchovies) or calamares (deep fried squid rings), enjoy a jarra de Sangria (jug of Sangria) and before you know it your steaming hot dish of paella will have arrived.
